so far so good its pretty cool because every other chapter someone dies I dont know much about books but i think thats a sign of a good book.
I found a quote that i reelly like its not really emotional and it doesn't make me think but its a good solid quote that speaks the truth and relates to our world. " If you killed em all they'dhave to build a annex to hell." (79). In this quote Bell and deputy torbert are investigating what happened at the scene were a few guys lie dead. It was obviously a drug deal and bell and torbert are talking about who are these people, Bell says their just evil men and that if you killed them all there isn't a hell big enough to hold them all. The author is talking about the real world, I think this is pretty obvious because this is our world. things like that happen alot and our world is full of bad people its overwhelmed with dictactors, drug dealers and corrupt governments. I think the author is saying the world is changing and for the worse.
so far ther are probaly three main characters theres Moss, Chigurh and Sheriff Bell you can see how their all conected. Moss stole the money chigurh wants the money and will kill anyone to get it and the sheriff who is after chigurh who has been killing lots of people. so its all coming together.

rivets(59): a short metal pin or bolt for holding together two plates of metal.
lapis(56): a bright blue metamorphic rock consisting largley of lazurite, used for decoration and in jewlery.
"like wet stones". I know this is a simile because it uses the word LIKE.
"straight as a die" .This is also a simile because it uses the word AS.
"dead quiet" . This is a Metaphor because the word dead is applied to quiet when noise cant actually dead just very quiet.
"It takes very little to govern good people. very little. and bad people can't be governed at all. or if the could i never heard of it."(64). I think this is significant because the bad people in this book are going to do what they want and arent going to stop until the get what their after. So you should probaly stay out of their way or else you"ll be having some trouble later in life, like i think the main character in my book will have.
One theme i see arrising is that there is a new era coming in, new ways of doing things and the old ways of dealing with things will not be a good enough way of dealing with this new era.
